Performance Fibers has named Richard Black vice president of global marketing and technology. Mr. Black brings more than 20 years of extensive global commercial and technology experience to the Richmond, VA-based company. He previously was chief marketing officer at Sigma Group and vice president of global sales at Oberg Industries.
Reporting to Performance Fibers’ president and chief executive officer Gregory Rogowski, Mr. Black will be responsible for developing and executing global sales, marketing and technical strategies to drive growth and innovation, as well as providing a global marketing vision for the company’s North American, Asian and European regions. “Mr. Black’s domestic and international experience will be a great asset to Performance Fibers as we continue to foster collaborative global customer relationships, and focus on innovative technologies that advance our global growth strategy,” Mr. Rogowski said.
