Stain Repellent Tencel

November 30, -0001

Tencel, a man-made cellulose fiber derived from wood pulp that is applied in fashion, hygiene and medical applications, has been further enhanced by new water and stain repellent finishes.      Tencel fabrics can be treated with finishes including Teflon and Nano-Care, which ensure long-lasting protection against rain-water-or oil-based stains. The finishing treatments improve functionality but do not change the aesthetics of the fabrics, which maintain Tencel’s distinctive fluidity and drape. The finishes can be applied to a variety of Tencel fabrics as well as blends of cotton and polyester and can maintain their effectiveness after multiple washes.
