Parkinson Technologies has recently added new employees, made management promotions and changed the company's operational structure as a part of a strategic plan that is driving record growth. "Our plan is to achieve solid, sustainable growth and we're highly focused on achieving these objectives," said Peter Termyn, president and CEO of Parkinson Technologies. "We've secured excellent personnel additions for our organization while also promoting top performing individuals to higher level positions. This adds skills and capabilities that continue to position us for success in the future."
Recent management changes, promotions and new hires at Parkinson include the promotion of Greg Silva to vice president, chief financial and administrative officer. A six-year employee at Parkinson, Mr. Silva was promoted from his previous position as CFO. He is responsible for all financial, administrative, information technology and employee-related areas at the company.
Additionally, Edward DiLorenzo has been named manufacturing supervisor. Mr. DiLorenzo has worked at Parkinson since 2005, when he joined the company as a machine assembler. In his new position, he is responsible for maintaining parts flow to assembly and ensuring all work centers are processing correctly.
In another appointment at Parkinson, Mark Vannoy has been promoted to purchasing manager. Mr. Vannoy was hired as a buyer in March 2008 and was quickly promoted to acting purchasing manager.
Moved to the newly created role of product manager is Joe Connelly. Reporting to Steve Montalto, director of sales and marketing, Mr. Connelly will interface closely with sales and engineering to lead the overall effort of defining product and performance requirements for target markets.
Also promoted is Greg Curry, who has been named sales engineering manager. He will report to Steve Montalto. Mr. Curry's group has grown through the addition of two new sales engineers.
Finally, David Dziadzio will take over as mechanical engineering manager, reporting to Ken Cavanagh, vice president of engineering. Mr. Dziadzio joined Parkinson from Magnat Fairview where he managed the overall engineering effort.
