Kansas City, MO-based Multivac is capitalizing on the rise in wet wipe applications in the baby care and household markets, as well as their increasing use in the industrial and sports segments. The company can supply flexible and rigid packages using its customized traysealing or horizontal thermoform fill-seal roll stock packaging systems. Both machines utilize films to create packaging that maintains the wipe’s usability and appeals to customers at the point of sale. Multivac’s T350, T400 and T500 traysealers package wipes in a canister or tub with easy-open, resealable lids; each has a single-track configuration that integrates completely in-line and can be divided to handle a number of different tray sizes. The R530, an in-line thermoform fill-and-seal solution, produces virtually any size or shape wet wipe package with a resealable slider zipper.
