Melt Foam Technology

November 30, -0001

The Specialty Tape Division of Troy, MI-based Avery Dennison Corporation has introduced its advanced melt foam technology for vehicle sealing areas. The improved weathering seals help avoid water leaks and reduce wind and closure noises. The Specialty Tape Division has developed an improved mounting product to simplify the conversion process through single-coat polyethylene melt foam. The new melt foam uses a tape with a single liner, longer roll lengths and optimal temperatures to increase processing speeds. The foam can be used in all sealing applications including doors, sunroofs, windscreens and around the lights of a vehicle.
