Several personnel changes have taken place at Ahlstrom Corporation. The company's president and CEO Jukka Moisio has announced that after serving the company for 17 years, he will resign from Ahlstrom's service in order to take on new challenges. Mr. Moisio will step down from his role as Ahlstrom's CEO but will remain at Ahlstrom's disposal until late August.
Ahlstrom's board of directors has appointed Risto Anttonen, senior vice president, commercial operations, to act as interim CEO. Mr. Anttonen joined Ahlstrom in 1991 and has held several senior executive positions at the company. The board of directors has initiated the search for a new CEO.
In another recent move at the company, after nearly 37 years of service with Dexter and Ahlstrom Corporation, Ellen Miles has retired effective February 29, 2008. Any questions or concerns with regard to ongoing communication activities should be forwarded to Francesca Camerano, global director for communications for the nonwovens business area, and Jerome Barrillon, global marketing director for the filtration business area.
