Our global organization provides us with the resources and the facilities to support our customers on a worldwide basis.
Our Cost Effective Solutions:
Whatever your requirements, Branson has the most cost effective solutions. In most cases, ultrasonics can be retrofitted to your existing line. In all cases, Branson equipment is manufactured to the highest quality standards – we are ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
Operation Techniques:
The ultrasonic process can be applied in two modes of operation.
Plunge
The material is held stationary while the horn descends to make contact. The material is fused together in the pattern of the stationary anvil.
Continuous
The material is moved beneath a stationary horn. Extremely high speeds of operation can be achieved with this method.
Bonding Techniques:
Whether you are producing straps, buckles, filter media (nonwoven and woven), bedspreads, or window shades, we will help you choose the best technique for your application.
Slitting
Slitters simultaneously slit and seal fabric edges, which prevents unraveling, and produces a smooth, durable and clean edge.
Sewing
Material to be bonded is moved beneath a stationary horn, and a seam is made based on a pattern in the rotating anvil. This creates a continuous seam. Extremely high speeds of operation can be achieved.
Rotary drum bonding, laminating, and converting
This process can create wide webs by passing multiple layers of material between a rotating patterned drum and an array of ultrasonic heads.
All of our bonding techniques eliminate the need for chemical binders or other consumables, cause no thermal degradation, and can process lightweight and heavyweight webs of any size.
