The buzz of continuing development and the challenge to maintain the rate of progress, permeates Advanced Fabrics (SAAF) as the new Reicofil 4 line comes on stream and the medical fabric development programme continues apace.

SAAF’s philosophy of developing win– win partnerships on the back of technical development, obsession with product consistency and flexible, honest, customer service continues to pay dividends as the customer base expands and Line II is well on its way to hitting full capacity. Our partnership with Ahlstrom has grown broader and deeper to the mutual benefits of the two companies and our customers.

Utilizing SAAF’s in house treatment line, the Medalon™ range has been enhanced to offer the best value for Alcohol Repellent / Anti Static fabrics utilized in surgical gown and drapes. These high barrier, soft products have been fine tuned, working with our partners, to offer a range of weights, hitting specific performance characteristics. By maintaining the high Alcohol Repellency (9+/-1) and excellent Anti Static properties of the original 52 gsm fabric, offering quick delivery and optimizing slit widths, our partners can offer the end user the best price/performance combination for their needs.
